President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory letter to the 2021 World Internet Conference Wuzhen Summit on Sept 26. Xi emphasized that China is willing to work with other countries to shoulder the historical responsibility of promoting human progress by stimulating the digital economy vitality, enhancing the digital government efficiency, optimizing the digital social environment, setting up a digital cooperation structure, and building a strong digital security shield. China is also willing to work with other countries in the world to make the digital civilization benefit people of all countries, and promote the building of a community with a shared future for humankind.

“十四五”規(guī)劃提出，迎接數(shù)字時(shí)代，激活數(shù)字、數(shù)據(jù)要素潛能，推進(jìn)網(wǎng)絡(luò)強(qiáng)國(guó)建設(shè)。

以“邁向數(shù)字文明新時(shí)代——攜手構(gòu)建網(wǎng)絡(luò)空間命運(yùn)共同體”為主題的2021年世界互聯(lián)網(wǎng)大會(huì)烏鎮(zhèn)峰會(huì)，共設(shè)置20場(chǎng)分論壇，反映產(chǎn)業(yè)各界對(duì)互聯(lián)網(wǎng)發(fā)展前景的前瞻思考，引領(lǐng)數(shù)字技術(shù)創(chuàng)新趨勢(shì)，展示推動(dòng)互聯(lián)網(wǎng)發(fā)展治理的中國(guó)方案、中國(guó)智慧和中國(guó)擔(dān)當(dāng)。
